Thing 9: slides, photos, databases

Slideshare: Allows you to upload slide presentations, like powerpoint, and sync them to audio. Can connect with people, group presentations, add slide show widgets to blogs or websites, browse by category.

Picturetrail allows you to present your slides in various ways. For example, zoom and fade, grid, revolution, photoshoot, etc.

This is my slideshow. I chose size XL for the pictures, but for some reason, they still look tiny.

Databases: Lazybase, a database maker, allows you to create lists and view them in different ways, e.g. on maps or graphs. The examples shown are for a book club, award winning fiction, and area restaurants. The restaurant example was the only one that appealed to me. It would be cool to have a friend with similar tastes create a database with maps so that you could find places you liked. Otherwise, the pages took a long time to load.
