Using no more than 10% of a work is a guideline, but in some cases it may be possible to use more, in others, less. Only people enrolled in class would have access.
Interesting: The author states that if an image of a book cover and its art are used for educational purposes and put on a restricted website, a case could be made for fair use. Generally, though, prior permission should be sought, esp on open sites. Wow. Does that mean that every time the library shows a book cover on our site, we have to get permission?
If in image of a book cover is used, full credit must be given and, if taken from a website, that should be noted
